We are delighted to share the glimpses of the MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) held on 1st May, on the auspicious occasion of Gujarat Day between Gujarat University & University of Glasgow in the presence of His Excellency Peter Cook, British Deputy High Commissioner; globally renowned hydrologist Prof. Asit K Biswas; and leading practitioner and researcher Dr. Cecilia Tortajada, to work towards sustainable development goals.
Great historic moment for our Indian Institute of Sustainability, Gujarat University. Two MoUs were signed with Pidilite Industries Ltd. CSR initiatives, one with the Manar Centre for Agri-Hort Development and another with the Women's SHG initiative. Pidilite Industries have agreed to use Manar Centre as a satellite and extension centre for IIS for Agriculture Entrepreneurship, Value Chain, Seaweed Farming, and Rural Development. This occasion was graced by Hon. Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Himanshu Pandya; Vice President of Pidilite, Dr P.K Shukla; and his team. This collaboration with Pidilite is a great opportunity for students of IIS for internships, Research & other activities.
