Indian Institute of Sustainability, Gujarat University, wholeheartedly hosted Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Nilofer Khan, of the University of Kashmir for further joint research program and technical collaboration in addition to the advancement of sustainable development, innovation & action-oriented research.
On 25th May 2022, Wednesday, the University of Kashmir & Indian Institute of Sustainability, Gujarat University signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate with each other for the advancement of Sustainable development and to help promote Innovations, Entrepreneurship, and action-oriented research in several key areas.
This visit of Honourable VC, University of Kashmir, Prof. (Dr.) Nilofer Khan is intended to build mutual cooperation between IIS and the University of Kashmir so that there can be further modalities of the said MoU, so as to learn, assimilate and develop further on the core strengths, experience, and institutional objectives of the respective parties.
Additionally, a meeting was held among the Honourable Vice Chancellor of Gujarat University, Honourable Vice Chancellor, University of Kashmir & Other dignitaries of Gujarat University.
At this meeting Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Nilofer Khan said that "It is a momentous occasion to enter into collaboration with IIS, and GU to help develop a holistic approach to sustainable development, further, she added that the University of Kashmir is making all efforts to develop such important linkages to further the cause of research in emerging areas and contribute to the country's growth and development."
Thus, by her pleasant words, the event was given a new lease of life!!
