The Department of Higher Education, Government of Gujarat hosted a Workshop on “Future Agri-Entrepreneur '', in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Sustainability, Gujarat University. The Government of India has recently launched Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan. Our goal is to make India a powerful country. India needs more entrepreneurs in order to flourish economically and generate jobs in the agricultural sector. By sustainable agriculture, we mean a holistic, systems-oriented approach to farming that is focused on the interrelationships of social, economic, and environmental processes for delivering agricultural produce.
Indian Institute of Sustainability, Gujarat University is the first institute in India, to launch MBA, MSc, and PG Diploma program in “Agripreneurship & Value Chain Management”, this is an action and exposure-oriented program.
The workshop was further facilitated with the experience of experts from different corners of the state.
The sole motive of the event was to create a difference in the way Agriculture is being practiced and create awareness about the same in the minds of the Youth of the nation who will further decide the fate of the country.
